Founded -- The original founder, Ihei Kuribara, opened Kuribara Ihei Shoten, a silk business
1870 With the spread of sericulture, the Kuribara family operated a wholesale business focused on silk for three generations: Hirokichi Kuribara (2nd generation), Senzaburo Kuribara (3rd generation), Ryohei Kuribara (4th generation)
1955 Established -- Kuribara Shoten Co., Ltd. established, with Shigeru Kuribara (5th generation) as President. Started wholesale business of feed, eggs, and sericulture in Yura-cho, Ota City, Gunma Prefecture
1962 Renamed to Kuribara Trading Co., Ltd.
Capital increased to 4 million yen
1975 Established Toomo Aikeien Co., Ltd. as an egg production division of the group, with Hiroyoshi Kuribara as President
Scale: 170,000 chickens (in Takasaki City, Isesaki City, and Ota City, Gunma Prefecture)
